The great Ganges

This is about the holy river Ganges. The Ganges has created vast plains at the foot of the Himalayas. It is originating from gangothri on the Himalayas, and reaches the plains of Himalayas. It gives rise to many of the distributaries. Hoogly is one among distributaries of Ganges flow in India. It is also called as the holy river.
